Meet Dr. Garg
Dr. Garg was the first to introduce mesotherapy to the Jacksonville area and personally performs every medical cosmetic procedure at Medisolare. He has safely performed thousands of Mesotherapy injections in the United States. His patients have had no infections or permanent side effects. Affectionately known as “Dr. G” to his patients, the board-certified internal medicine specialist received his medical degree from the University of Delhi, India and completed post-graduate training in internal medicine from West Virginia University Health Sciences Center (Morgantown, WV) in 1993. He serves as a courtesy clinical assistant professor at the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Florida School of Medicine and has also worked as a courtesy clinical assistant professor at the University of South Florida. As a clinician, researcher, teacher, scientist and writer, Dr. G has been practicing medicine for more than 15 years. He has been a principal investigator for multiple clinical trials and has worked as a sub-investigator in a National Institute of Health-funded research study seeking genetic information on obesity. Dr. G is well trained in the new and exciting specialty of cosmetic medicine and non-surgical cosmetic enhancement. He practices what he refers to as “integrated aesthetics,” essentially combining office-based, non-surgical procedures to make the skin look younger with a wellness approach to make skin function better. This is Medisolare's unique “beauty from inside out” program. A pioneer in the field of complementary and alternative medicine/integrative medicine, he has designed and implemented a holistic, comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach in managing several common diseases and disorders with programs for smoking cessation, stress, obesity and heart disease. This type of disease management protocol is unique from most programs found throughout the country, particularly in a primary care setting. Dr. G is a member of Duval County Medical Society, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is the first practitioner of mesotherapy in the Jacksonville area. He also serves as a member of the Medical Advisory Board of H Magazine, a publication of The Florida Times-Union, Jacksonville's daily newspaper. He also serves as the national medical advisor for metabolic Research Center, a national chain of weight loss centers emphasizing holistic approach to weight management with lifestyle modification.
